After a long week in Riga, I made it Ghent where Amy and I will be leading the Communectivity workshop for the next few days. The object of the workshop is to create interventions in public spaces around the city of Ghent that integrate the landscape, history, and people in local neighborhoods into an interactive or engaging event, happening, or installation. Lots to work with and the list of participants is pretty impressive – spanning 8 countries and multiple time zones! Will be posting activities here and to the workshop blog. We will cap the week off with a SimpleTEXT performance on the 14th, for which Dunk and Tim will be heading this way… Look out Belgium! (jk)
