This month’s Rebublican National Convention (RNC) will see a new kind of activist! With Moport, a site for generating and creating mobile phone reports of live events, people can stay in the action and broadcast it online. The project is a public, shared, and collective mobile blog (moblog) and kind of the photo based equivalent of my Audiobored project which allows people to post audio files to a shared website from their phones. Eyeteeth has a nice roundup of some of the projects aimed at causing a stir at the RNC this year – cool stuff. Oh and don’t forget to Rate the Threat! at my project, the Homeland Insecurity Advisory System (which will be included in the Convention Intervention show opening at LUXE gallery in NYC on August 21st!).
