NICEBOTS are small wooden robots that drive around and learn based on situations and obstacles they encounter. They are part of an open atelier workshop / exhibition lasting a few months in Nice, France – led by some former ITP students. Their shape, form factor, and the differences between them remind me a lot of Victor Vina’s BOX project. Nevertheless – it will be interesting to see how many they can make and if they start “mating” on their own and spawning off strange behaviors… we shall seee…
