The IMC EXPO is going on in NYC now. Reading this quote on the website made me laugh: “If you’re looking to introduce a new technology, product, concept, or artwork to the world this is the place to do it. The IMC Expo features the best and brightest minds in the world of new media gathered under one roof to share their real-world experience, insights and ideas with you”. And this one “The IMC Expo is an annual exhibition showcasing cutting-edge immersive technologies with exceptional creative and commercial promise.” is even more ridiculous. My favorite line is “with exceptional creative and commercial promise” – hmm, leveraging interactive art for commercial purposes…that is pretty wack.
