At our first day at SIGGRAPH – we led the DIY Wearable Challenge version of our Scrapyard Challenge workshops. Its been a lot of fun making simple wearables with lots of people from the conference stopping by. A few of the projects made will end up in the “Cyber Fashion Show” – a dated name for a show that might be interesting. We also saw the Electronic Theater which was more electronic than theater and kinda (not) interesting. I took a picture of a woman wearing the above shirt – very cool thing to wear at this kind of conference… right on! I also took a picture of a guy with like 80 badges, but for some reason my camera contents got erased halfway through the day.. ughh no wonder these conferences tire me out and frustrate me…. Only 3 more days until my panel….
