Toronto-based artist Amos Latteier‘s latest project “We’re Not Gonna Take It!” lets people call into a local phone number and record their own protest songs to the tune of “We’re Not Gonna Take It!” by Twisted Sister. Pretty hilarious collection of songs already up there about people’s landlords, Canada’s free trade agreement with Israel, and one protesting that bike lanes in Toronto are too skinny. Cool project – definitely like the use of the phone – which reminds me of my “AudioBored” project a bit. I did an interview with Amos as well a few months back that can be read here.
