The very cool “Email Erosion” project by Portland Oregon-based artists, Ethan Ham and Tony Muilenburg, creates sculptures out of “biodegradable starch-based foam using spam and email as stimuli. Based on the email, the Eroder may elect to rotate the foam, raise or lower the Sprayer, or erode the foam with a spray of water.” Pretty nice visualization of something everyone wishes they didn’t have to deal with and a nice addition to steadily growing collection of physical, networked installations.
