Last nite we checked out the Survival Research Labs extravaganza here at ISEA 2006! Pretty amazing show of fires, giant Tesla coils (see the mushroom-looking shape in the distance), robotic mechanized creatures including a giant hulking, walking robot and those making super loud sonic booms as they drove across the space. There were 2000 people there to watch the mayhem unfold – pretty amazing stuff and a nice way to close the festival. Even though there are 2 days left, we’re heading out today – had a great time overall and hope to read more about it in the days to come!
