These hands were sticking out of the beach here in Uruguay. It’s not clear who the artist was who made them, but they were a pretty impressive thing to be seen coming out of the sand dunes. Reminds me a bit of the Awakening Sculpture of a giant in the earth, situated outside of Washington, D.C. where I grew up.
