Above is a picture of “Wild Fire Beats!”, an instrument made in our last MIDI Scrapyard Challenge workshop on Friday in Evanston, IL. This one was made from an old CD burner that was modded to play different tones when it opened and closed along with the little “drummer” guy bouncing around with a motor attached to a counter-weight attached to his back!
