A set of sunglasses that remove the lens when they are indoors.

 

Description

AutoMagic Sunglasses are a set of regular sunglasses outfitted with a light sensor so that they remove the lens when they are indoors. The project was built with LittleBits, a modular, open source, system of magnetic circuits, actuators, and sensors. The idea behind the project is that by giving non-interactive objects such as glasses the ability to use sensors and actuators, they can begin to function to their fullest potential and ease the use of the wearer who, in this case, does not need to take off their glasses when they step indoors away from a sunny environment.
