Description “CD-DJ” was a custom built turntable instrument made from two old CDs, two potentiometers, a Basic Stamp II, two LEDs, 8 sound samples, and awooden case. When you turn the CDs you control the speed, direction, volume, and track selection of several sound files. Picture of the physical device: Prototype “CD-DJ” was built as a basic prototype to a music controller that resembled a standard LP scratching station. The interface was later used to control several animations by directing avatars in specific directions by spinning the disks. |
