Above is a picture of the “MIDI Hoover” by David Bernard of Glasgow’s Pointless Creations. Bernard was the musical guest last week at the Scrapyard Challenge workshop that Katherine and I ran in Glasgow, UK. He did a live performance of the “Hoover” after the workshop which was pretty cool – basically he connected up all the existing buttons of the device along with some new “implanted” buttons to create a guitar-like instrument that sends out MIDI. Nice!
