Friendster is addictive and IM is pretty much pervasive to desktop users. But one thing thats missing in IM is knowing who your friends are chatting with – at least then you can have some idea of who your friend’s IM friends are. I wrote this AppleScript called “chatperson” which works with iChatStatus for Apple iChat AV and shows the person you are chatting with in the status message for iChat. Feel free to download and distribute – to Install you need to have iChatStatus installed, then drop the script into the iChatStatus folder in User/Library/Application Support/iChatStatus and restart your System Prefs.
