Yesterday I noticed my iPod was bulging out of its metal case. Seemed like the metal was warped and didn’t fit on the plastic front anymore. I was hoping Apple had (secretly) designed a “Data Heavy” feature like my Data Heavy Laptop idea that gains weight when more data is stored on it. No luck! This is some kind of factory defect. I found a forum with people having the same problems, but with a nice solution: stick your fingernail between the metal and plastic, pull back, and it snaps back into place! Why didn’t I think of that? Duh. I did that and it’s back to its normal self. Funny how all of these back ass solutions for things actually work. Instead of calling tech support and mailing my iPod back for maintenance, waiting a few weeks, blah blah blah, all I needed was a fingernail. I love technology.
