Made it to Newcastle, Australia for ElectroFringe! Here’s a pic of PoliceState in action – set up in the John Paynter Gallery (an old police station on the historical register of Newcastle). We took a short tour of the station – they have padded cells – and it was full of giant dead cockroaches, rusted bars, and a decrepit old excersize gym for the prisoners. The festival kicks off tomorrow – will blog some images of the festivities.
