This was the MIDI scrapyard challenge workshop I led in Newcastle, Australia today. Some amazing output from it . People built custom midi controllers out of repurposed junk and we wired up everything and connected it to a MIDI synth for a concert. More pics soon! It’s really fun to play with junk.
This is so cool, Jonah! Great idea. I really wish there was room/time/money for workshops like this in SA. There are very few people capable of leading programs like this, and even fewer resources available to them… Been a long time since I used any kind of microcontrollers myself… In other words, when are you coming to Africa?
