When I was in Australia a few weeks back I met Richard Kelly Tipping – an Australian artist who creates really great work with signage across Australia and the world. His approach is to keep the aesthetic (look/feel) of the sign the same, but alter it’s meaning to reflect a wider view of social concerns ranging from existential urbanism to environmental hazards. The above two are some of my favorites.
