I just finished up an interview with Berlin-based media artist Aram Bartholl for Gizmodo. You can read the whole piece here. Above is a picture of Bartholl’s “CaseMod” piece, that embeds an old PC into a sandstone block, a really nice combination of “new and old”. Bartholl’s work is an interesting hybrization of the virtual “gaming” world and physical space as well as some interesting low tech hacks and re-configurations.
