BIX is a “communicative display skin” for the Graz Kunsthaus. Basically a fully controllable display made of thousands of flourescent tube lamps that can display images, text, animations. Accompanying the display will be some software to visualize output before it’s deployed on the surface of the building – which is also new. Above is a picture of it’s construction, but the website tells all with some watchable animations of the display!
