I’m here w/kaki at Ars Electronica (above pic is from the conference) – been running around going to see the installations and talks.. a lot of stuff to take – which basically just makes you want to go home and do work because you see all of the output collected from the participants. Some highlights so far include Maywa Denki’s amazing, custom instruments and fish-bone devices, Golan Levin’s Messa Di Vocce which involved two speech performers and a three screen projection of interactive graphics that responded to their vocal utterances – lots of grunts and growls mostly… I’m in the process of writing a longer review of the festival so I will post a link that soon.. stay tuned….
