I still think this Ropod (Rotating Polar Display) project is the best thing since sliced bread – and it’s been around since 1994. i first stumbled upon this about 3 years ago and I was going through my old bookmarks and found it stuck in there. The things we can learn from wood, motors, Leds and some crazy math is astounding. Check out the video, it’s definitely worth it.
