The ERGODEX DX1 is a keyboard or game controller you can completely configure on your own. Imagine taking the keys off your keyboard and placing them anywhere else on your desk (well at least on their “tablet”) and have them still work. This is great if you hate the QWERTY keyboard or you really want to confuse someone who might try to use your machine! I love how when technology gets infinitely customizable, it also gets infinitely more confusing and hard to use. This is a perfect example of taking customization one step too far. I mean this device could be really cool if hacked the right way, but the way it’s advertised makes me pretty scared that many new forms of RSI will creep up on its victims.
