Now SIGGRAPH is over and we can finally just relax a bit! Yesterday we got to speak to media artist, Toshio Iwai and check out the Tenori-On he developed with Yamaha. The project is a tactile musical instrument with lighted switches that allows you to create musical loops that correspond with lighted sequences. Really nice implementation and here’s a picture of Toshio with his creation. Hope this makes it to an online retailer near you soon!
