This month my project, “Forward Compatible” (a parasitic object that reads outgoing and incoming packets from any wireless router and changes the transfer of packets into audible sounds of a 28.8bps modem from yesteryear in order to impart a sense of the past on today’s streamlined communication technologies) is featured in a show called “Spectropia” at RIXC in Riga, Latvia. Check out the site for the list of artists in this show which examines art that questions the proliferation of Electromagnetic fields and the dangers and benefits they bring to society as a whole. This show runs from October 16-25th so check it out if you are in Riga during those dates!
