Made it to Boston, where I will be speaking on panel called “Design for Hackability” at the Designing Interactive Systems conference! Today I met up with the super cool Angela Chang, and later with Jo and Helen of Turbulence.org and they told me about the very nifty Influences.org – a site that shows media artists and scientists and how their influences stretch across genres. You can upload your own work and your influences in the attempt to build a social map of connected ideas and inspirations! More to come from DIS as the conference opens tomorrow! I will be writing up a full report on my reports page soon! (oh and another surprise tomorrow too)….
