This informal event called SMAL or “Season of Media Arts London” is a get-together for people to showcase projects “support and stimulate media arts in London. Using a consensus-based decision making and an experimental opt-in management structure, SMAL also aims to produce tools and techniques for distributed, co-operative promotion, production and organisation. ” This could lead to a full-scale media arts festival in London – I guess of course this depends on who shows up and what they want to do… we shall see!
