I heard it through the grapevine that at the PainStation show at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Fran, they are making people sign waiver forms to use the system. I’ve used this before in Rotterdam @ DEAF and in Linz @ Ars Electronica – and it definitely causes injury if you suck at video games. I’m pretty much a wimp when it comes to physical pain, so I didn’t go very far with it. The new version, effectionately called “The Agonizer”, (see model above) looks bad ass and once again makes me afraid to use it – but still curious!!!
