The WooPeFi by Yaniv Steiner is a Wi-Fi enabled “streaming Mp3 player based on Linux-Debian, embedded inside a classic radio.” This project has been done lots of times before so they get a zero on originality and it is very similar to the InternetRadio project that I made 6 years ago with James Tu. Our project wasn’t wireless, but subsequent similar-type projects such as the Bass Station were wireless although they were more of MP3 uploading-playing projects, and did not let you stream radio from the Internet.
